We use our own collection of plugins to extend WordPress for small businesses.
Never. We design each website and not 2 are alike. If you have taken out one of our cloud packages then templates will be used.
We believe WordPress is currently the best CMS available for small businesses. Unfortunately, not all WordPress websites are created equal. There are a lot of low-quality pre-made themes available that give the platform a bad reputation. We build each website from the ground up using our own Framework.
A content management system (CMS) is software that allows you to update and manage your website through an easy-to-use interface. Think of it like Microsoft Word but for your website. Without this software, you’ll need to hire a web developer to make modifications to your website. We use WordPress, the most popular CMS in the world, as our content management system.
No. If someone is making you this guarantee, be very careful. There are bad actors who claim this is possible. They typically use techniques that can penalise your website or even get you removed from Google. Every business’s circumstances are unique and the outcome of every SEO strategy is different. A more realistic goal is to have your website show up on the first page of Google results for a set number of key words.
Yes. It’s almost always possible to get your website to show up for “branded” searches, meaning someone typing in your business name. It can be much more difficult to compete on industry keywords if your market is oversaturated.
Yes. All our websites are coded using search engine optimisation best practices.
Yes, in some form. Many people are surprised to learn SEO isn’t a single process that takes place. Google has thousands of different factors it weighs in order to rank your website. How fast your site loads, ease of use on mobile, how long people stay on your site, and more are all taken into consideration. On-page search engine optimisation is almost always a good idea. This ensures your website is coded to correct standards and the content on your website is structured properly. This makes Google happy and gives you a boost within their rankings. This is included within your plan, which is different to most agencies. Off-page search engine optimisation is more complex and primarily involves something called “backlinks”. These are links on other websites pointing to your website.Getting authentic quality backlinks is very time consuming and difficult. Some agencies will try to “game” the system by creating fake backlinks. Google is getting very good at figuring out if a backlink is fake. If you’re caught, you can be completely delisted from Google searches. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.
SEO on WIX works pretty much the same as other platforms but this platform has a tool known as WIX SEO Wiz to help you rank faster on Google and Bing’s first pages. It is basically a wizard that guides you towards ranking your WIX site higher on search engines, in your niche. There are other ways to improve SEO on WIX but perhaps the best way is to use the right keywords in your content. We are talking about finding out about what users are searching around your site’s niche or product, then cleverly inculcating them to your content. This includes having the right keywords in titles and metadata for every page or section on the site. You should also tailor the site for mobile devices, structure it well, build links with relevant sites (e.g through Guest Posting) and of course generate quality content that keeps users coming back for more!

If you don’t have a domain name and our on our standard or premium plan, we can purchase and register one on your behalf at no additional charge. As long as you’re on one of these plans, we will automatically renew your domain for you annually.
A domain name is a memorable phrase used to access your website, often “yourbusinessname.com”. Every computer connected to the Internet has a long string of unique numbers used to identify itself called an “IP address”. Without a domain name, you would need to remember the IP address in order to view a website. Domain names are purchased using a “registrar” which acts like a phonebook. When someone types in your domain name, behind the scenes your registrar will look up your domain for them and return your IP address back. Their computer will then know where to find your website.
Web hosting refers to the server which responds to requests to view your website. It’s simply another computer connected to the Internet for the sole
purpose of transmitting your website to users. Any time you visit a website, there is another computer somewhere in the world you connect to in order to view it.
Our Basic plan allows for 2 revision rounds, Plus and Pro plan allows for 4 rounds, and our Unlimited and eCommerce plan allows for unlimited revisions. We ask that you give us a comprehensive list of changes each time to make the process quick and smooth. Revisions only become an issue if it’s obvious we’re moving in circles. If this happens, we’ll work with you on ways we can get the project back on track.
Yes. We believe our solutions are some of the best you’ll find. Some of our clients see a majority of their traffic from mobile phones. We put a high emphasis on making sure the website experience on a phone is second-to- none.
Responsive web design is a technique used to build a website that adapts its layout to fit the size of any device. Instead of having to build an additional website for mobile devices, you can lower initial costs by only needing a single website. Since responsive web design is really only a classification, each company has their own interpretation and implementation.
Nope! A lot of our competitors purchase “themes” or use pre-made templates to cut costs. We make every website to the exact needs of each client.
Our primary focus is working with business-to-business (B2B) and business- to-consumer (B2C) small businesses. We have experience with creating websites within almost every major industry. Contact us and we’ll consult with you to see if we’d be a good fit.
We’ve found it’s cheaper in most cases to start over than it is to retrofit or complete an existing website.
In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we do not offer proposals. However, we do start each project with a plan in place. Once you hire us, we outline content and design details prior to starting.
Sure! We’ll listen to your idea and let you know if we’d be a good fit for the project. If not, we’ll even try and steer you in the right direction, free of charge.
Yep! We’re great at communicating via phone and email and our clients come from all over the UK.
Websites come in all shapes and sizes, just like cars. You’ll find quotes ranging from a few hundred pounds all the way up to several thousands of pounds. Our websites are designed to be the perfect balance of features and price for small businesses. We’ve been able to keep our prices low by reducing overhead and streamlining our process. Our finished product often exceeds the quality of agencies charging ten times more than us.
No. We can get started by using placeholder content while you work towards completing your content. We’ll even provide you with a content outline to follow to make things easier. This gives you guidance on the type of text and images that would perform best on your website.
Each project is different, but on average we have a website launched within 4 to 6 weeks. This timeline can be longer or shorter depending on how proactive you are with assets and revisions.
No. All of our work is performed by our in-house team based in Merseyside.
Absolutely! We have unique processes in place that will educate and help you make informed decisions along the way. The last thing we want is for you to be uncomfortable or overwhelmed.

When it comes to this wearegeeky.com, search engine optimisation (SEO) is one of the most important and effective forms of marketing we can offer. Simply put, SEO is the process of optimising your website or blog so that it ranks higher in search engine results pages (SERPs). When someone types in a query related to the products or services you offer, you want your site to be one of the first results they see. By improving your SEO, you can ensure that more people find your business and learn about what you have to offer.
On-page optimisation is one of the most important aspects of effective SEO. This includes optimising key elements on a web page such as the title, meta description, header tags, images, and content. It’s also important to ensure that a website’s code is clean and efficient so that it can be easily understood by search engine crawlers. Off-page optimisation is another critical factor in SEO. This involves developing high-quality links and brand mentions from other reputable websites to help improve your own site’s authority and ranking.
The short answer is categorically yes, SEO does work. The longer answer is that it depends on how good your SEO skills are and how they fit your wider business strategy. If you’re looking for a short-term boost in traffic, then SEO can help, but direct marketing such as PPC might be a better fit for your needs. If you’re looking for long-term results, then the right SEO strategy can work wonders. There are no guarantees that SEO will work, but with the right agency can beat the odds most of the time. Working with Custard on your organic strategy is of the most cost-effective ways to improve your search engine rankings and drive more traffic.
SEO is the process of optimising a website for better visibility in organic search results on platforms such as Google search and Microsoft Search, with the goal of earning higher web traffic levels and more revenue. SEO practitioners use a variety of techniques to improve their site’s rankings, such as on-page optimisation, link building, and content creation. That’s where our Manchester SEO company comes in. We make it easier for people to find your site through search engines.
There is no one answer to this question as SEO can take varying amounts of time to work depending on a number of factors, such as the competitiveness of the keyword you are targeting and the current state of your website’s SEO. Depending on the issues & opportunities that we identify for your business, results can take from a few days or weeks, to a few months to materialise. A typical campaign lasts for 6 months, and by the end of that first engagement we’re confident we’ll have you asking for more.
SEO is important for businesses because it is one of the most cost-effective ways to reach a target audience. When a business invests in SEO, it can improve its website’s visibility and organic search results without incurring the per-visitor fees associated with direct forms of digital marketing, such as PPC and social media. Growth is incremental, meaning that over time you see a compounded benefit from the work carried out, offering the possibility of an ever improving CPA over time. Additionally, SEO can help businesses to improve their online reputation and create a strong online presence – just like SMM, so it’s a good thing we’re an expert Manchester social media agency, too!
You should expect an agency which specialises in SEO for marketing to take time to understand your specific needs and objectives. They should carry out thorough research and audits, creating a strategy for success that your business can follow to the letter. They should always be communicative – that’s why we pride ourselves on being a fully transparent Manchester SEO agency.
SEO, or search engine optimisation, is the process of improving the ranking of a website on search engines. There are many things that you can do to improve your site’s SEO, and fortunately, many of them are not rocket science requiring only quite basic digital skills! Here are a few tips to help get you started:
Make sure your site is easy to navigate. The easier it is for users to find what they're looking for, the better it will rank in search engines.
Use relevant keywords throughout your site. This helps search engines understand what your site is about and rank it accordingly.
Optimise your images. Make sure to include relevant keywords in the filename and sensible alt text to help them show up in search results for the terms that matter to you.
Publish quality content regularly. This is one of the most important factors for SEO. Implement a content calendar, be disciplined, put out the right messaging at the right time to match your target audience’s needs, habits and behavioural patterns.

No, it's not against Google's policies to request reviews from your customers. In fact, Google encourages businesses to seek honest feedback from their customers. However, it's essential to follow Google's guidelines and best practices, such as not incentivising reviews and ensuring that reviews are genuine and unbiased.
Yes, you can use the Google Review Link for both online and offline customers. It's a versatile tool that allows you to gather reviews from anyone who has interacted with your business. You can share the link via email, social media, or even print it on receipts or marketing materials for in-person customers.
Negative reviews are a part of the online review landscape. When you receive a negative review, it's crucial to respond professionally and empathetically. Address the customer's concerns, apologise for any issues they experienced, and offer a resolution if possible. Handling negative reviews with care can demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction and can sometimes turn a negative experience into a positive one. It's also an opportunity to show potential customers that you take feedback seriously and strive to improve.
